As our advance scout Jasper the lab will attest, 2014 continues to be a great year for those who love to play in the snow -- and on Montana's rivers in the summer.
So far, the snowpack in southwest Montana is nothing short of superb, and it looks to be sticking around well into spring. After a couple lower-water years, most of the mountains surrounding our fisheries are between 100 and 150% of average. What that should mean is a great season from start to finish, and happy, healthy rivers into the future.
If you were thinking of a later summer or fall trip, this great snowpack should be what you were waiting for to book a trip!
